Hi there! We are the Curren Family. We traveled full time in our Airstream from 2013-2017 and now split our time between our small condo in Teton Valley, ID and the road.

As avid, outdoor, travel and adventure enthusiasts we are here to provide tips, advice, and inspiration to help you develop healthier and stronger family relationships.

Who Is Currently Wandering?

Welcome to our blog! We are the Curren family – two adults and 3 awesome kids. We traveled full time around the US for 3 years launching from Woodbridge, VA in November 2013, sold our house about six months later  in Lehi, UT to set out again in late June 2014. In 2017 we outfitted a condo in Driggs, Idaho as a base camp and AirBnb rental and officially joined the #halftimefamilies crowd. We couldn’t be happier.

We love that travel & outdoor recreation helps our family feel closer together, adventurous, and challenged. Currently Wandering is a collection of stories, locations, advice and ideas for those that want to travel or be inspired to explore the world around them.

Life is simple over here, and with simplicity has come a deeper understand of ourselves, our family relationships, and the world around us.

Our hope is to leave you inspired to wander your tiny piece of the globe. Explore by yourself, with your significant other, and with your children the exciting, beautiful, and educational places this world has to offer. As we have learned over and over, the hardest part is just getting out the door. The rest seems to take care of itself.
