About Us

Welcome!

Hi there! We are the Curren Family. We traveled full time in our Airstream from 2013-2017 and now split our time between our small condo in Teton Valley, ID and the road.

Halloween at National Harbor “Chillin with My Peeps”

The Event I normally am obsessed with Halloween. Seriously. I love everything about it. Not the creepy part, but the fun, costume parade, trick-or-treat, decorate, dress up part as evidenced by the last 3 years of Halloween documented on my blog here, here, and here (Wow, check out how LITTLE my kids were in 2010). I LOVE it! Rachel looks like an awesome mummy. Andrew’s cape throwing is fun and Cara looks delightful. Your yard is perfect! It sounds like you did have a magical night. Since you weren’t able to trick or treat in the neighborhood you know, why not go to the cool festival thing?ReplyCancel

We been on the Parkway in several different sections, but not the one you traveled on. Wonderful scenery, great for taking pictures.ReplyCancel

The National Mall during the Government Shutdown

How closed is it? Really? With family scheduled to come into town the following day, we decided to take a quick trip up to the National Mall today to see how closed it really was. We had seen photos on the news of barricades, police officers, even canine patrols designed to keep the general population…
